Welcome to Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event Works in Progress Submission

Projects will be presented on November 26 and 27, 2019 in Tallinn during three sessions: Just Film (children and youth film projects) Works in Progress, Baltic Event Works in Progress (Baltic and Finnish projects), International Works in Progress.

Before submitting, please read carefully the Rules and Regulations; and make sure that your project matches the following eligibility criteria:

  • Full-length fiction film for theatrical distribution with potential for international market;
  • The project must not have an international sales agent attached(1)
  • The project must not have been presented in any previous Works in Progress at international industry events with the exception of a presentation at an event in the country of origin. 

The selection committee reserves the right to evaluate eligible projects for the Works in Progress section on a case by case basis.

The applicants who want to participate in the Works in Progress with a film project, which will be in line with the above stated requirements, must provide the following information in the application via online submission form:

  • Synopsis (up to 1000 characters)
  • Short biography/filmography of the director (max. 1000 characters, recent or selected films)
  • Filmography of the producer and production company profile (max. 1000 characters, recent or selected films)
  • 2 photos or stills from the film (resolution 300 dpi, landscape format) for the catalogue
  • Provide links to the scenes from the film (5-15 minutes) with English subtitles for preview
  • Deliver additional materials if needed to the email address wiptallinn@poff.ee

Special conditions:

  • Participation includes an accreditation fee of 75 Euros per person
  • Once the project is selected, the producer/representative is requested to be present during the presentations in Tallinn
  • The official language of the market is English
  • Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event covers the accommodation costs of the participants but not the round-trip airfare.

(1) Projects from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania or Finland with sales agents on board can apply but are not given priority in the selection process.
